Freak rain storm in November

Not two weeks after record heat and the worst firestorms in California history, it cooled off dramatically. We started getting rain and snow in the mountains, all while the fires are still burning. However, on the evening of November 12, after light rain all day, sudden and massive thunder and lightning storms unleashed themselves on parts of southern California. In just a 3-5 hours, 2-5 inches of rain came pouring down along with intense amounts of hail. At our house, it was heavier than we've ever seen anywhere. It was coming down so hard we thought the roof would cave in. Our yard and street were awash in inches of water and hail. They say this was a 100 year storm, and it sure seemed like it.
