We're at the track 90 minutes early and the track is already three people deep all along. By racetime, it will be 6-8 people deep all along the approximately 1500 meter track. Christie catches up on some studying in the meantime.
Our view of the track. We probably see the sled for about 5 seconds of its entire 50 second run, but there is a large screen (far left) showing the entire race. The sled goes by in a blurrrrr.
This is bobsleigh USA-1 on its third of four runs, coming out of turn 14. It was completely by chance that the U.S. flag was in the picture. I thought it was in the way, but it turned out great. They ended up placing fourth overall, just .03 seconds behind third place and a medal!
