It's the beginning of our trip - we have to tak the obligatory pictures (still on the roof.)
Outside the Venice train station, Allie finally conks out.
We walk out of the train station and get on the waterbus to take us
to our hotel. Allie slept through the entire ride!
We've arrived at Hotel Concordia in Venice.
We finally make it and have a chance to rest. Looks like Steve is going to be conmfy in this short Italian bed.

Eating dinner on Piazza San Marco. Celebrating our first night. We sat out here and just enjoyed the scenery and the live music for most of the night.
Allie on Piazza San Marco. Notice all the pigeons are gone. They
disappeared once it got dark. Our theory was the people selling the
bird seed boxed them up when they left.

The Bridge of Sighs in Venice - Prisoners crossed this bridge to get to their cell, thus the name.
After Gelati we took a walk along the grand canal. It was a beautiful night.
